💾 Local Storage Only

Capture Pro uses Chrome's local storage solely to remember your preferences (such as whether microphone, webcam, or system audio is toggled on or off). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

🎥 Screen Recordings & Screenshots

All recordings and screenshots captured using Capture Pro are saved directly to your device's Downloads folder. They are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party. We have no access to your recordings or screenshots at any time.

🌐 Permissions Used

Capture Pro requests the following Chrome permissions, used solely for the stated purposes:

activeTab — To capture the current tab as a screenshot
tabs — To identify the active tab for capturing
storage — To save your toggle preferences locally
scripting — To inject the area selection overlay on web pages
downloads — To save recordings and screenshots to your Downloads folder
tabCapture — To capture screen content for recording
host permissions — To inject the area selection content script on web pages

👶 Children's Privacy

Capture Pro does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is no risk of children's data being stored or shared.

If we ever update this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Since we collect no data, we do not anticipate meaningful changes.
